JOY E. MORRIS
Joy Morris grew up in the South. She may have been raised in a small town but her goals and aspirations were anything but small. Joy had always dreamed of being a model. As she transitioned into her early years of teenage life, trauma and tragedy struck Joy and her family. Two years later, a model scout approached her. She auditioned and was hired on as one of the famous faces of JCPenny. While working with this national company, she traveled all over as their runway model. This led her into catalog work. Upon renewal of her contract, Joy decided to branch out and work with other brands and companies that had approached her. To date, Joy has worked with over two hundred and fifty photographers. Joy has been on the cover of Adaras Magazine, MBW and was a featured model in Dimensions Weekly, VIP, Seventeen and Fitness and Me. You may also have seen Joy on many billboards across different state highways. She has represented brands and companies such as RK Enterprises, Fashion Bug, JCPenny's, SEMPA, Bella's Brides and so many more. While at an event one evening, Joy was introduced to a director of films. She was later asked if she would like to audition for his upcoming film. She decided to make the transition from modeling into a film career. After her first film audition, Joy was cast in her first film, 5 Guns West. To date, she has been in several films. Shakers, Southern Mafia, The Great Spider Invasion 2, Atlanta to New York, and many more.
Joy has also worked as a tv host. Joy has been on many tv shows working as a tv host, co-host, anchor and reporter . Smart Actors, The Doctors, Riding with the Stars, Zero to Fame, to name a few. Joy has also worked as a tv host at red carpet events for charities and award ceremonies. Her previous red carpet event that she hosted was in Los Angeles for Breast Cancer Awareness. She has also worked in television commercials regionally and nationally.
Let's not forget her work in music videos either. She has been in several music videos. One video imparticular won many awards. She worked as the lead actress in a music video called Hollywood with talent, Casey Fallen which was directed/produced by Ethan Prochnik. Ethan Prochnik is an award winning director and producer. You may know him by his reality television show called "The Deadliest Catch". "Hollywood" went on to win many awards across the globe. This video even won an award at the New Music Awards in Los Angeles, California. This award ceremony had artists such as Natasha Bedingfield who also took home an award that evening.
